As a family-owned and operated builder, which is now in its 2nd generation of ownership, the company has built a reputation of excellence by providing the highest level of quality and service to its clients seeking residential custom home building and remodeling.

The Process

Consultation

We’ll begin by having a conversation to get a sense of your vision, ideal timeline, and preferred budget. This information will help us determine where you are in your process and where we can help you.

Design

We don’t believe in a “one size fits all”. Each home will be uniquely designed to work for you and/or your family. We welcome you to bring photos or designs of homes you love, or we can start from scratch. We will ultimately work with a designer to bring your visions to life.

Project Bidding & Contract

Once your design is finalized, we will prepare a highly detailed estimate of your project. We will do our best to incorporate every known cost for completing your project. If the price is agreeable to you, we will move forward to signing a contract.

Pre-Construction

Building a home is truly a collaborative effort. Once your contract has been signed, you will meet with our entire time to discuss the next steps of your project in order to ensure that the job will run smoothly and without delays.

Construction

Your project manager will oversee every aspect of the work being performed at your home. Our team and sub-contractors are committed to providing the highest quality of work, as well as customer satisfaction.

Move In

This is the day you’ve been waiting for! We will do a final walk-through with you to address any final questions, concerns, or punch list items before we hand over your new keys.

From the moment we met Scott and his team at HSCB, we knew we were in the right place and had found our builder. We came to HSCB in transition and with some drawings from a previous architect. When Scott and his team started to review the drawings and ask questions about our dreams and goals, it was clear they wanted to provide everything we hoped for in a financially responsible manner.

The team worked with us through some crazy issues with our property and were nothing but understanding and supportive. Then, when we finally got to the house building, it was nothing but fun! The saddest point of our projects was knowing that when it was completed, we would not get to work with Scott and his team on a regular basis. During our project, they became an extended part of our family. I am not sure how many clients can say that about their builder, but I am sure it is very few.
